Frozen Banana Pops

Ingredients
1 ½ cups Rice Krispies®, or nuts
3 tablespoons margarine
½ cup semisweet chocolate chips
4 bananas, firm and ripe
8 wooden skewers, or popsicle sticks

Directions
Measure cereal and set aside in a shallow dish.

Melt margarine and chocolate morsels together in a small saucepan over very low heat, stirring constantly until smooth. Pour chocolate mixture into a second shallow dish. Set aside.

Peel bananas. Cut in half crosswise. Insert skewers into cut ends of each half. Immediately dip each banana in melted chocolate to coat evenly. Roll in cereal or nuts, pressing gently into chocolate. Place on tray lined with wax paper. Freeze until firm, about 2 hours. Serve frozen.

Makes 8 pops.
