Dawn’s Recipes is now optimized for mobile browsers, thanks to a plugin by Crowd Favorite. Now if you’re ever wandering the aisles of the grocery store, wondering what ingredients you need for a  particular recipe, wonder no more!  Just pull out your trusty web-enabled cell phone or PDA and look it up. Okay, admittedly, I may be the only one who uses this feature.  ;) Here’s a preview:

Strawberry Shortcake

      I’ve had a version of this recipe in my archives for some time, so I don’t remember where I first saw it.  Supposedly it comes from the June 2000 issue of Parade magazine.  I’ve made a few changes to it over the years, and I always get tons of compliments when I serve it. Wild Blueberry Waffles

Wild Blueberry Waffles

      This is a very simple waffle recipe.  I like to make a big batch and freeze the extra waffles.  During the week I’ll pop them in the toaster for a quick breakfast.  I actually prefer my waffles without any butter or syrup, so I can just wrap them in a napkin and eat them on the go.
