Baked Figs with Grand Marnier and Whipping Cream
Source: Gourmet – September 2002 Ingredients 12 fresh figs ? cup sugar 2 tablespoons sugar ½ cup water ¼ cup Grand Marnier 1 tablespoon Grand Marnier 1 cup heavy cream Directions Preheat oven to 300°F. Prick bottom of each fig several times and stand figs in a buttered 9- to 10-inch flameproof gratin dish or ovenproof skillet. Sprinkle figs with ? cup sugar, then add water to dish. Source: Nabisco Ingredients 4 tablespoons dijon mustard 2 tablespoons water or vegetable oil 1 teaspoon garlic powder ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning 1 pound boned and skinned chicken breasts Directions Mix mustard, water or oil, garlic powder and Italian seasoning in large bowl or plastic bag. Add chicken, mixing to coat. Place chicken on lightly greased baking sheet. Bake at 375°F for 20 minutes or until done. Serves 4.

Chicken Wings a la Smokey’s
Source: The Lowell Sun – January 1999 Ingredients 4 tablespoons paprika 1 tablespoon ground black pepper 1 ¼ tablespoons celery salt ½ tablespoon garlic powder ½ tablespoon onion powder ½ tablespoon dry mustard ½ teaspoon Cayenne, or to taste ½ teaspoon lemon peel 3 – 5 pounds chicken wings Directions Mix dry ingredients in a small bowl.
