Recipe: Crockpot Kielbasa
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 4 to 5 hours
Serves: 12
Ingredients
- 3 pounds kielbasa, sliced into 1/2 inch pieces
- 2 cups ketchup
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 12 ounces beer
- 16 ounces pineapple chunks with juice
Instructions
- Place the kielbasa into a large crockpot. Stir the ketchup, brown sugar, beer and pineapple chunks together and pour over kielbasa.
- Place the lid onto the crockpot and set to high. When sauce begins to simmer, turn heat to low. Continue cooking over low heat for 4 to 5 hours, or until kielbasa is cooked.

This is something I usually serve at buffet style functions. It’s great for pot lucks, barbecues (if you have an available outlet outdoors), family gatherings, etc.
