Coming Soon (I Hope)…Enhanced Search

Big Daddy Google has decided to add a recipe search feature to their site. I have mixed feelings about this decision. When using their standard search my site has always ranked pretty high. In order for recipes to be included in this new search, however, special coding must be used in each recipe in order for the recipe to A) actually be identified as a recipe, and B) be correctly interpreted…what part is the ingredients, what part the instructions, etc. What does this mean for a small recipe blog like mine? Dawn’s Recipes Now Fit in Your Pocket!

Dawn’s Recipes is now optimized for mobile browsers, thanks to a plugin by Crowd Favorite. Now if you’re ever wandering the aisles of the grocery store, wondering what ingredients you need for a particular recipe, wonder no more! Just pull out your trusty web-enabled cell phone or PDA and look it up. Okay, admittedly, I may be the only one who uses this feature. ;) Here’s a preview:
