I try to avoid specifying what brands to use in my recipes. Heck, I don’t get paid to recommend Brand A over Brand B, so why should I give them free advertising? Well, here is one instance where I must insist on a particular brand. Since the barbecue sauce plays such a key roll in this recipe, I won’t use anything but Sweet Baby Ray’s. Recipe: Crockpot Kielbasa Prep time: 10 minutes Cook time: 4 to 5 hours Serves: 12 Ingredients 3 pounds kielbasa, sliced into 1/2 inch pieces 2 cups ketchup 1 cup packed brown sugar 12 ounces beer 16 ounces pineapple chunks with juice Instructions Place the kielbasa into a large crockpot. Stir the ketchup, brown sugar, beer and pineapple chunks together and pour over kielbasa. Place the lid onto the crockpot and set to high. When sauce begins to simmer, turn heat to low.
